CRICKETS: IN PASTA AND AS A CONDIMENT

My son just came back from a visit to Japan and brought me an interesting gift, something I really did not know existed: Cricket Pasta and ground Crickets, to sprinkle over your meal...

I have eaten a cricket before and I am getting used to the idea that insect consumption is on the rise. I am even on the waiting list for one of Katarina Unger's Meal Worm Farms, to produce living worms in your kitchen, from food scraps, for human consumption.
